Hi, I'm Sawyer! I’ve been fishing with my pa, Kendall Smith, since I was two years old. Caught a 5 pound spotted bass at two and have been hooked on fishing ever since.

I became friends with Mr. Crappie's Wally Marshall when I was four and was the youngest actual competitor of the Mr. Crappie Classic when I was 10 years old. I fished my first bass tournament at 9 years old, finishing in 2nd place with 4/100’s of an ounce from winning. I have fished approximately 70 crappie and bass tournaments in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma.
