Hi! I'm Darrin! I grew up in a small town about an hour northwest of Truman Lake and have been hooked on the outdoors from a young age. Hunting and fishing have always been a way of life for me. After spending 18 years in an aluminum foundry and later owning and operating a gun store in my hometown for 13 years, I turned my lifelong passion into a career. I started crappie tournament fishing in 2015 and began guiding full time in 2017. Today, I focus primarily on crappie fishing and helping clients put fish in the boat, while creating memories that last a lifetime.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know many amazing individuals and have formed lifelong friendships along the way.

I’m proud to be the parent of two grown children, Ryan and Taylor, and a bonus daughter, Jayci. I’m also a proud grandparent to my grandson Tripp, who is almost 3 and enjoyed his first fishing trip this past summer. I also share my adventures and life with my fiancée Darci.
